A special visitor, Michael Buehrle, came through Checotah and stopped at the Katy Depot on Monday, May 23, on his way from Florida to Las Vegas. Buehrle , a Navy veteran who served on the USS Carr in 1985, met up with Paul Henry Carr?s nephew, Jeff Rush, to see this one of a kind exhibit that honors Carr.
