Founders? Place Historic District will hold a homes tour and vintage auto show on Saturday, June 11 from noon to 4:00 p.m. A featured home on the tour is the Trumbo Home, 1321 W. Broadway, a National Register listed territorial home patterned after one of Mark Twain?s houses in Missouri. Tickets are $15 per person available at any of the homes on the tour. Other homes include the W.C. Patton Home at 429 N. 16th Street, listed on the local historic register. The Patton?s were the parents of Julia Fite, wife of Dr. F.B. Fite who opened the first hospital in Indian Territory. Also on the tour are two other homes built between 1904 and 1918 respectively.
