The Tulsa Golden Hurricane delivered one of their gutsiest performances of the season, riding the power and heart of Dominic Richardson to a thrilling 26–25-comeback victory over Army.
Down 11 points in the fourth quarter, TU refused to fold. Seth Morgan drilled a clutch 27-yard field goal with just 12 seconds left, completing a furious rally and igniting a celebration on the Tulsa sideline. The win snaps a 10-game American Conference losing streak and pushes TU to 4-7 overall.
Richardson was nothing short of sensational. The senior from Oklahoma City bulldozed his way to a career-high 203 rushing yards on 28 carries, including 37 yards on the decisive final march. One week after torching Oregon State for 166 yards on a bum ankle, he surged past the 1,000yard mark for the season — becoming TU’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2021.
Tulsa saved its best for last, outscoring Army 12–0 in the final 15 minutes and outgaining the Black Knights by nearly 200 yards. Despite a rough night in the turnover battle (2–1) and nine penalties, the Hurricane’s grit and lategame execution proved too much for Army to withstand.
On a night when TU needed a spark, Dominic Richardson lit the fuse — and the Golden Hurricane finished the job with a dramatic statement win.
