EUFAULA – Brenda Sue Runyon, 75, peacefully passed from this life on Sunday Morning, December 28, 2025 in Eufaula, OK surrounded by family. No service listed.

CANADIAN – James “Jim” Farrell Fowler, 75, passed away at his home in Canadian, OK, on December 27, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Canadian United Methodist Church.

PONCA CITY – Elizabeth May Tipton, 85, formerly of Eufaula, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025.A memorial service will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula, OK.

EUFAULA – Rayford Gavin Johnson, 91, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Tulsa, OK. A memorial service was held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.

MUSKOGEE – Linda Kaye (Tidwell) Rhodes, 76, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. . A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Checotah, OK.

HARTSHORNE- Paul Anthony McCarrroll, 60, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at his home in Hartshorne. Burial took place on Tuesday, December 30 at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery.

EUFAULA – Joyce Elaine Hodge, 78, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. No service scheduled.

CHECOTAH – Earnest Gene Myers, 83, former Checotah councilman, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Greenlawn Cemetery Pavilion in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Tina Lorraine Graham, 62, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Muskogee, OK. A memorial service was held Saturday, December 27, at Big Arbor Baptist Church.

CHECOTAH – Anna Louise (Goodman) Dunegan, 93, departed this life for her new life in Heaven with numerous friends, family and most of all, her Savior Jesus Christ, welcoming her home on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Celebration for her “going home” was in the Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral, Checotah on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

CHECOTAH – Billy Joe Daney, 78, passed away at his home in Checotah, OK, on Sunday, December 21, 2025. No services planned.

EUFAULA – Mitchell Leon King, 77, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Muskogee, OK. No services at this time.

EUFAULA – Kenneth Ray Harding, 67, passed from this life on Monday, December 15, 2025 in Muskogee, OK. A memorial service was held Monday, December 29 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula.

CHECOTAH – Ray Edward Peckham, 77, entered eternal life on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in the comfort of his home with his daughter, Wendy, by his side. A funeral service was held Friday, December 19, 2025, at Hunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Checotah.

CHECOTAH – Donald “Don” Wayne Long, 85, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Serenity Chapel Service.

HARTSHORNE – Charlotte Denise “Peanut” McCarroll, 70, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at her home in Hartshorne. No services listed.

CHECOTAH – Charles “Pops” H. Sumner, 91, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Checotah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Checotah. No services have been scheduled at this time.

TULSA – Annie Beatrice White, 64, formerly of Checotah, went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2025, from her home in Tulsa, OK. A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Bonnie Lou Phelps, 79, of Eufaula, OK, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. No services planned.

CHECOTAH – Dorothy Diane Stidman, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. A graveside service was held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK.
