Kay Anne Campbell Fabian

Feb. 9, 1946 - May 1, 2020

Kay Anne Campbell Fabian, seventh child of David August Campbell and Bertha Leora (Farmer) Campbell, born Feb. 9, 1946, entered eternal life at the Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, May 1, 2020, after having struggled with cancer since August, 2019. A memorial service will be scheduled later, after the pandemic.

Kay married C.A. Fabian her senior year at Checotah High School, and they had lived in Oklahoma City most of their married life.

Miss Campbell was a 1962 honor student at Checotah High School, actively participating in the band, chorus and majorette group.

She was also active in the First Baptist Church Choir.

In Oklahoma City she worked years as Personnel Manager/Retirement Package writer for North America Rockwell, and Gulfstream, and most recently enjoyed working for Haggard’s Amish Furniture Store.

She and C.A. were active members of the Victory Church, Oklahoma City.

Kay is preceded in death by her husband of almost 56 years, a daughter Farrah, a son Scott, her parents, and siblings William Claudie Dennis Campbell, Minnie Spotts and Cloe Ellis. She is survived by her son Rob

She is survived by her son Robert Shane Fabian, of Oklahoma City; granddaughters Caitlin Fabian Rainwater (Grant); and Danielle Fabian, all of Oklahoma City; and infant greatgrandson Walker Rainwater, of Oklahoma City.

Also surviving are a brother David A. Campbell of Eufaula, and sisters Billie Barrows, of Beaumont, Texas, and Wilmatine Griffin of Checotah; a dear sister-in-law Sue Wickliff and caregiver Tim. Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive her and remember the beautiful loving, intelligent and vivacious person she was.
