New World Record Black Crappie caught in Tennessee

A larger than life crappie gets caught in east Tennessee. The giant weighed in at 5.46 pounds and is confirmed as the new Tennessee state record and possibly the new world record. Genetic testing revealed that the black crappie that Jam Ferguson caught in May, 2018 is indeed a new world record. An absolute giant of a crappie was caught in a pond in Paint Rock, east Tennessee. It is the new state record for Tennessee as well as the new World Record Black Crappie.
