Road across dam to close March 20

Folks who routinely drive across Eufaula Dam to get to their destination will find themselves inconvenienced for about three years. A $20 million project to replace the road that crosses the dam is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 20, requiring the closing of the bridge to traffic, according to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers spokesperson Stacey Reese.
