2 hurt in Memorial Day weekend boat fire

Two people from Kansas were injured Saturday when their boat exploded in the Eufaula Cove, according to the Marine Enforcement Division of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Ashley Jansson, 36, of Halstead, Kansas, a passenger in a boat operated by Johnny Marshall, 41, of Wichita, Kansas, was flown to the Alexander Burn Center at Hillcrest hospital in Tulsa.
