Checotah?s population grows by 1

Checotah?s population grew by one on Sunday. Mayor Daniel Tarkington and his wife, Jamie, added to their household of three, making it an even four. Hallory June Tarkington decided to make her grand appearance on Aug. 23 at 6:30 a.m. She weighed in at 9 lbs. 12 oz. and 22 inches long. Big sister, RayLynn, will now have a live baby doll to play with after school and everyone is doing fine. Congratulations to the Tarkington family.
