School Board cites several concerns

At the Checotah Board of Education meeting Monday night, Superintendent Monte Madewell brought up concerns about more COVID-19 cases hitting Checotah Public Schools. With six staff members now out for testing positive and 33 more students and/or staff quarantined, it seems like a revolving door the board is constantly having to deal as they voted to modify their COVID Opening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year.
