A late rally by the Checotah Wildcats (6-6) fell up short Friday as the Spiro Bulldogs (10-1) held on to a 8-4 win at Checotah. Wildcat senior pitcher Hayden Price struggled from the mound in the early innings hitting four players on wild curve ball throws, but settled down and was effective. The Bulldogs scored three runs in the third, one each in the fourth and fifth innings and added three runs in the sixth to seal the victory.
