Easter 2021 has come and gone but as I celebrated the Resurrection of my Savior, I also was reminded of the excruciating pain He went through on the cross for my redemption. That thought alone made me realize that the real purpose of my life was my life after my resurrection. For you see, I too was dead in sin, but unlike Jesus who was innocent I was not so innocent. In fact, I was found guilty and sentenced to die a lonely and painful death of heartache, despair and divorce. Then miraculously this man named Jesus stepped in and took my place so I could go free. So how does one ever repay such a redeeming sacrifice except to take up my cross and follow Him to live my life after resurrection?
