The Checotah Feral Cat Program recently obtained another grant to fix 20 cats in the area for low income families needing help to spay or neuter their pet or ferals around their homes. ?Though this was a small grant and a 50/50 grant, which means the owners pay half the cost and the grant will pay the other half, we were grateful to get it,? Alexandria Dobson said. ?This grant is already full and I am taking names on a waiting list in case we have no shows.?
