The Checotah Farmers and Crafters Market is in the beginning stages and is working hard to get vendors to get their permits and pay for their space and set up. However, just like the infant stage of anything there?s always a hiccup or two. Though the market was supposed to start on Saturday, May 29, due to a little confusion on where to set up due to the holiday weekend and no porta potties were available for the vendors, the opening was pushed out until Tuesday.
