St. Patty?s Day past
St. Patrick?s Day, which I prefer to call St. Patty?s Day, is here again. St. Patrick?s Day was originally a celebration held in Ireland to honor one of Ireland?s patron saints. The celebration included feasts and religious services. Now the tradition in the United States has evolved to a more secular celebration of Irish culture with parades, certain foods, music, dancing, drinking and lots of green. In fact, if you don?t wear something green, be prepared to be pinched and it won?t just be the leprechauns that get you with their trickery. It might even be your best friend.
