It seems as if over the past several weeks the main questions my students have is about the Ukraine. This nation is rich in history even if, unfortunately, much of it has been conflict. Writing about history is trivial compared to what is going on in Ukraine, but I think it can help us process if we understand some of what is behind this conflict.
