On Thursday, March 31, the Oktaha High School Tiger Concert Band, the ?Roar? of the Tigers under the directorship of Jerry L. Cooper, made school history when they performed for the first time in the O.S.S.A.A. State Concert Band Contest. One judge expressed to Cooper that they ?really enjoyed hearing his fine band at State Contest.?
