William ?Bud? McCombs, left, and Charlotte Turner, right, were named 2022 Mr. and Ms. Heritage Days. Bud has traced his paternal family coming from the Trail of Tears. His maternal family came by covered wagon to Indian Territory in 1905. Charlotte, 91, was raised in Stidham but now lives in Eufaula. Her paternal family moved into the territory in the late 1800?s.
