Sands named NJCAA DII All-American and Catcher of the Year

Checotah graduate and standout softball athlete was named NJCAA Division II Catcher of the Year and All- American. Sands helped to lead Murray State to the DII National Championship game where they fell short but ended the season as National Runner-Up. Sands was named the Most Outstanding Defensive Player of the NJCAA Division II World Series.
