Newton could tie-up Oklahoma?s longest uninterrupted football rival
In 106 years, Oklahoma?s longest uninterrupted high school football has been the McIntosh County rival between the Checotah Wildcats and the Eufaula Ironheads. Since 1915 both schools have battled on the gridiron. It has been one of the most competitive rivals in high school football history. The record is Checotah 53 wins to Eufaula?s 52 with one tie.
