Burn ban still in effect

The McIntosh County Board of Commissioners on July 20 issued a 14-day ban on burning due to an extreme fire danger. However, due to several areas of McIntosh County not experiencing over .25 inches of rain over the last 14 days, the current McIntosh County Burn Ban has been extended until August 15, 2022.
