I am writing to bring attention to a matter we have recently encountered with the usage of the George C. Fussell Community Center located at Texanna Fire Department. McIntosh County GOP has had the honor and privilege of using the building for the past several months for our meetings as well as other activities. Thus far, we have had a very good relationship with the fire department, especially the Board president, Phillip Nicholson, which is why we were surprised to find that the Fire Chief, Ronnie D. Ross, has added an item to the agenda which would prohibit our usage of the facility.
