Checotah High School principal Jennifer Campbell and the K20 Gear Up program have collaborated together for an initiative to help students think ahead about furthering their education. One of the many ways is on the first and third Wednesday of each month, teachers are allowed to wear a college shirt. Students will be taking field trips to colleges, technology schools, or universities this school year for them to get a bigger picture idea of what a certain college has to offer. The goal is to give every student a chance to think about attending the college of their choice.
