It has been only a couple weeks since the Class of Checotah suffered a devastating blow to their band program when a thief took off with their trailer from the school parking lot over Easter weekend. Unfortunately, it was not only the trailer, valued at $10,000 that they lost that day, but also over $15,000 of inventory, which included the band?s Winter Guard equipment, uniforms, props and speakers. Several students even had some of their personal equipment inside the trailer and do not have the means to replace their items.
