As everyone knows, Plumb Theatre likes young people on their stage. Last month we had 16-year-old Ava Rose. This month, May 6, we will have seven Connors College students – along with Connor’s band staff.
If you love good country music, you will kick yourself if you miss this one. Every time they get together, the house is full.
We are pretty busy for the month of May, on the 12th of May, Crystal River will be dishing out their brand of gospel music.
On the 20th of May, Plumb Theatre will have an All 50’s Night, from dressing the part to all 1950’s be-bop music to a coney chili dog, chips and a pop like you ate in the 50’s – all for a $10 donation to go toward our Gospel Fest coming September 29 and 30. Winners of best dressed will get a prize.
The 26th of May, Straight and Narrow will be here. This group is from Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church, and you will definitely enjoy this eight-piece band who travel all over the state of Oklahoma, spreading God’s Word in song.
We not only spread the Word in song on occasions like above, but, we have gospel music every Friday night and country music every Saturday night with the very accomplished Paul Maloy, his bass-playing wife, Mattie Maloy, Jody Green and Cookie Eller.
Doors open at 6 p.m. – show starts at 7 p.m. Family friendly shows. Located at 16505 SH 9E Eufaula (in Longtown). Call 918-360-9329 or 918-452-2020.
