Lake Dog, at 117 N. Main St., has launched its annual campaign to support the McIntosh County Sheriff ’s Office and the Eufaula Police Department’s K9 Units.
“Our local K9 Officers have limited funds to pay for their vet bills, dog food, tactical gear etc.,” said Shari Wilkins, Lake Dog owner.
Last year the campaign raised $7,547.28, thanks to loyal customers of the pet store, community members and business leaders.
“This money paid for their dog food, vet bills, first aid kits, detection odor kits, tactical gear, Bite Suit and more,” Wilkins said.
Purchase a Lake Dog K9 Fundraising Shirt or a dog toy from the Lake Dog Fun Bin or donate cash or money by a credit card (online or in the store) – all of the proceeds go to the McIntosh County K9 Unit and City of Eufaula K9 unit.
Purchase a raffle ticket to win a basket of dog items.
“We have 15 baskets ranging from $44.99 to $480,” Wilkins said. “Each raffle ticket is $2 and can be placed in the raffle box of your choice.”
