Hobo Dinner at the Katy Depot

The Checotah Landmark Preservation Society (CLPS)invites the community out for a free Hobo Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Katy Depot.

There will be all-youcan-eat beans, stew and cornbread, along with live music and fun fellowship. At 6 p.m. there will be a Dessert Auction with all proceeds going towards the Katy Depot.

CLPS also conducts its monthly meeting the second Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Katy Depot on Paul Carr Drive.

Those interested in joining CLPS are encouraged to come. Volunteers are still needed.

The Katy Depot is now open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Private tours can also be scheduled by calling 918-473-2070.
