Class of Checotah wins Ironhead Invitational

Twelve bands performed Saturday at the Ironhead Invitational Finals.

They were Stigler, Beggs, Victory Christian, Pocola, Prague, Poteau, Perkins- Tryon, Prairie Grove, Chandler, Holdenville, Checotah and Warner.

In the preliminary rounds of 4A White the Class of Checotah took 1st place and Fan Favorite Award.

They also received Outstanding Percussion, Outstanding Drum Major and Outstanding Color Guard.

Then in the Finals the Class of Checotah took 1st place in Color Guard with a score of 55 points and 1st place Overall with the score of 178 points.

Holdenville took home 1st place Drum Major with 43 points and Chandler took home 1st place Percussion with 41 points.
