The Checotah Lions Club Angel Trees are up and the club encourages others to be “Santa” this year to a child who might not otherwise experience the joy of opening a gift on Christmas Day.

Participators can pick up an angel or two at the following locations: Atwood’s Armstrong Bank Fast Lanes Bowling First Family Credit Union Peoples National Bank Sharpes Walmart Gifts need to be returned, unwrapped, to the place where they were picked up by Dec. 10. Please leave the paper “Angel” with the child’s name on it on the gifts and securely attached.

If anyone is planning on spending more than $100 on one child please grab another angel to spread the love.
