Be Santa and pick up an “Angel”

The Checotah Lions Club encourages those who can to be Santa to an angel this year. Angel Trees are up all over town and the club encourages others to bless a child who might not otherwise experience the joy of opening a gift on Christmas Day.

Participators can pick up an angel or two at the following locations: Atwood’s Armstrong Bank Fast Lanes Bowling First Family Credit Union Peoples National Bank Sharpe’s Walmart Gifts need to be returned, unwrapped, to the place where they were picked up by Dec. 10. Please leave the paper “Angel” with the child’s name on it on the gifts and securely attached.

If anyone is planning on spending more than $100 on one child please grab another angel to spread the love.
