Christmas Bingo Night

CHS Junior Class presents Christmas Bingo Night Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the CHS Cafeteria Bingo Cards $5 or 5 for $20 Junior Class Fundraiser for JR/SR 2024 Prom

Methodist Church to feature Praise Orchestra

The Tulsa Praise Orchestra will be in concert at the Methodist Church in Eufaula at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

This is a big band of five saxophones, five trombones, five trumpets, full rhythm and singers.

The band is composed of professional musicians that perform free just to sustain the big band sound. It will be the best show in town that night.

Please plan to attend and bring a friend – it is open to all who come through the door.

Checotah Chamber of Commerce Residential Lighting & Business Lighting Competition coming

The Chamber will be giving away $600! Get your houses and businesses decorated.

Three lucky residential winners and one business winner will win.

Residential: 1st-$250, 2nd-$150 and 3rd-$100 Business: 1st-$100 Applications are due by Dec. 15 at the Chamber office, 114 N. Broadway.

Applicants must live in city limits. Judging will be on Dec. 18 so make sure your lights are still on.

Winners will be announced on Dec. 20.

Reindeer in the park

Santa and his reindeer will be at Kiwanis Park in Eufaula on Friday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, 9 a.m. on Dec. 9, at Legacy on Main Street, 224 N. Main St., Eufaula.

Enjoy breakfast while visiting and taking a picture with Santa. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Adults, $15; kids, $10. Breakfast menu by Chef Zack Robinson: pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit.

Cookie Crawl Dec. 9

The Eufaula Chamber of Commerce Cookie Crawl takes place Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participating businesses will compete in the homemade cookie baking competition, with the public being the judges.

Folks can visit the businesses, check out the Christmas specials, sample the cookies and vote on the ones they like best.

First, second and third place trophies will be awarded.

If someone other than the person with the business bakes the cookies, both the baker and the business will win a trophy.
