Fryday sentenced to 20 years

Robert James Fryday, 53, of Eufaula, pleaded guilty on Friday, Feb. 9, to multiple felony charges and was sentenced to 20 years in prison by District Judge Mike Hogan.

The charges included discharging a firearm into a dwelling; burglary in the first degree; assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; possession of a firearm after a former felony and two counts of pointing a firearm.

Hogan suspended six of the 20-year sentence, ordering Fryday to serve a total of 14 years.
