Lucy LaRue was only five years old when she got the opportunity to model a unicorn costume for Hobby Lobby for their fabric department. Lucy’s cousin, Melissa Anshutz-Stone, works as a craft designer at Hobby Lobby Corporate Office in Oklahoma City and asked Lucy to model for their project. Of course, Lucy said yes because who doesn’t want to be a magical unicorn.

“Lucy had so much fun doing the photo shoot but she’s really getting a kick out of people snapping a selfie with her picture and posting it to social media,” Lucy’s mom Julie LaRue said.

Yes, now Lucy and her family have had a blast keeping up with all the selfies shared by friends, family and complete strangers at different Hobby Lobby fabric departments all over Oklahoma and other states.

“This inspirational pamphlet has really inspired Lucy for sure.”

So far over 41 selfies have come in from 31 different stores, including Paris (Ooh la la) Well Paris, Texas, but that’s still cool.

Then tell us where you’re posting from so we can add it to her album.”
