Easter bringing egg-citement to McIntosh County

Lots of Easter events will be taking place this year in McIntosh County

Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny, March 28

Total Rehab of Eufaula, 617 S. Main St., will hold a serene and inclusive Easter Bunny visit tailored for children with sensory sensitivities.

The event will take place Thursday March 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

What to expect: – a quiet and calm environ- – gentle interactions with the Easter Bunny – an adapted egg hunt and activities for all to enjoy Easter Egg Hunt on Texanna Road, March 30 Also on Saturday, March 30, an annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 2 p.m. at 429657 Texanna Rd, Porum.

Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, March 30 Providence Realty will host its annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30 starting at noon at Posey Park.

Have your picture taken with the Easter Bounces, chow down on hot dogs and turn the kids loose in bounce houses.

Egg hunt age groups and time of their start include: – 12:45 p.m., 0-3 year olds – 1:30 p.m., 4-7 year olds – 2:15 p.m., 8-12 year oldsC o-sponsors of the hunt include Parker Brothers Roofing; Sam Wampler’s Freedom Ford; Guild Mortgage; Family Dollar/Dollar Tree and Trustmark Title.

Helicopter Egg Drop, March 31 Community Culture Church will again host one of the most popular Easter events, eggs dropped from a helicopter at Paul Bell Stadium on Sunday, March 31, at 3 p.m.

Lake Eufaula State Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt, March 31 Also on March 31, starting at 2 p.m., Lake Eufaula State Park’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Children 10 years of age and young will be able to participate in the hunt.

Families will meet at the Deep Fork Campground at the park, located on Highway 150, west of Checotah.
