DEATH NOTICES

EUFAULA – Lou Ann Spencer, 77, passed away Feb. 23, 2024, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Lake Eufaula June 8, 2024.

CHECOTAH – Mary Ann (Lay) Bruch, 74, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, April 5 at the Hunn Funeral Home Chapel in Checotah.

MUSKOGEE – Stanley “Stan” Duncan Medlin, also called “Chief ” by many, 66, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. A memorial service was held March 28 at Keefeton Free Will Baptist Church.

PORUM – Merilyn S. Anderson, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her home in Porum, OK. No services scheduled at this time.

STIGLER – Hans Albert Jensen, 99, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Services will be set for a future date to be determined.

CHECOTAH – Ronnie Wayne Luke, 70, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the St. Francis Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 10a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Hunn Funeral Home Chapel in Checotah.

WARNER – Clara Effie Perry, 91, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at her home in Warner, OK. Funeral services were held March 29 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

EUFAULA – Sylvia Mona Wilkerson, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 1 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
