Fast Lanes Bowl recently had four youth who went to the “Bowler of the Year Tournament ‘’ in Stillwater. Hannah Duke won 3rd place in U8 Girls and $150 in scholarship earnings and Cash Davis won 2nd place in U10 Boys and brought home $300 in scholarships.
“We are very proud of all of our young bowlers,” Fast Lanes owner Lori Barnard said. “Bowling and competing in these tournaments provide long-term benefits, and resources to not just enhance these kids’ bowling experiences but also reward these young bowlers to have a future in the sport.”
There were 133 kids that competed in the tournament with a total awarded of just over $9,400 in scholarships.
Fast Lanes Bowl has two youth bowling leagues, the Rockin’ Homeschoolers and the Afterschool Fly 19, who compete year round for scholarships and awards throughout the year.
