Another school year will start next week as Checotah Public Schools gets back in session. Superintendent Monte Madewell was pleased to announce the good news that CPS has been awarded a Title IV, Part B - Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant. This grant will be used in many ways for Checotah school programs, like Marshall Elementary and Checotah Intermediate Schools’ Cats After-School Program.
