Brandon Jay Dickson, 34, of Eufaula was arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer following a confrontation with deputies on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Dickson is being held in the McIntosh County Detention Center on a bond of $40,000.
Associate District Judge Brendon Bridges entered a not guilty plea on behalf of the suspect at an initial court appearance Friday.
Bridges ordered Dickson back to court at 9 a.m. on Oct. 18 for a misdemeanor docket.
Investigator Matthew Youngblood stated, in a probable cause affidavit, he learned that Dickson was staying at a travel trailer on Mockingbird Lane north of Eufaula and that the suspect had two outstanding felony warrants.
Youngblood went to the site and attempted to get Dickson to exit the trailer.
After the suspect refused, Youngblood called for backup.
