CHECOTAH – Claude Casey, 89, passed away September 2, 2024. A memorial service celebrating Claude’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home Checotah.

EUFAULA – Joyce Jeanne Haight, 97, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. A Family Conducted Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 20, 2024, 11 a,m. at Bridgeport Dunes Community Clubhouse in Eufaula, OK.

HANNA – Richard Eugene “Pa” Orvold Jr., 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 8, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A memorial service was held Saturday, September 14 at Kelley Memorial Chapel.

TAHLEQUAH- Ollie Joy Spocogee, 86, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 surrounded by family at the Heritage Grove Assisted Living after battling lung cancer during the last year. Services honoring Joy is planned to be held in the Mesas in New Mexico to spread her ashes at a later date.

EUFAULA – Bulah Faye Powell, 82, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Clare House of Tulsa. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 19 at 10 a.m. at Bower Cemetery in Eufaula, OK.
