Thomas rated No. 3 of the Oklahoman’s Super 30 football recruits
By No. 1: Trystan Haynes, CB, Carl Albert

Trystan Haynes wasn’t always a blue chip recruit out of Carl Albert High School. It wasn’t until after his sophomore season that major college football programs began showing interest and offering him scholarships.

No. 2: CJ Nickson, DE, Weatherford

CJ Nickson has always been bold in adapting to the environment around him. The mentality materialized as an active kid, juggling an itch to play many sports simultaneously.

No. 3: Elijah Thomas, WR, Checotah

Elijah Thomas holds numerous Power Four offers, but his main motivation, combined with the determination to do what he loves and live out his dreams, is to prove to other athletes from Checotah and around the state can accomplish what they set out to.

No. 4: Nate Roberts, TE, Washington The Warriors are coming off two straight undefeated seasons that ended with Class 2A state championship victories against Millwood, and Nate Roberts has been at the center of all of it.

No. 5: Jaden Nickens, WR, Douglass

Douglass receiver Jaden Nickens is ranked No. 5 on The Oklahoman’s Super 30 rankings of the state’s top college football recruits in the 2025 class.

No. 6: Dakotah Terrell, TE/DE, Pocola

It was obvious to Pocola football coach Jason Parker that Dakotah Terrell has offthe- charts potential. At a whopping 6-foot-8, 215 pounds, Terrell obviously stands out on the field, but he also displays serious athleticism while playing receiver and defensive end for the Indians.

No. 7: Alexander Shieldnight, DE, Wagoner

Wagoner’s Alexander Shieldnight didn’t have any intention of playing football again until Dale Condict convinced him to give the sport another chance.

No. 8: Broderick Shull, OL, Bixby

Bixby offensive lineman and Auburn commit Broderick Shull is No. 8 on The Oklahoman’s Super 30 list of the state’s top recruits in the 2025 class.

No. 9: Trynae Washington, TE/S, Carl Albert

At 6’ 3”, 195 pounds, Washington has more of a receiver’s frame and he says OU’s coaches have told him they plan on using him in a variety of ways offensively.

No. 10: Antoni Ogumoro, OL, Elgin

After moving to Elgin from North Carolina last winter, Ogumoro spent the better part of his summer in Saipan, the largest island of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.
