By LADONNA RHODES STAFF WRITER

The Heartland Heritage Museum & Gallery came alive during the Checotah Art Guilds 4th Annual Holiday Art & Craft Holiday Show & Sale on Saturday, Nov. 23. For over five hours artists and locals got to browse all the incredible entries submitted for the Holiday Art Show. The seasonal show showcased a lot of local talent and featured an array of artistry with paintings, photography and wooden sculptures.

“We had a terrific turnout. This was one of the best shows we have ever had with such an array of talent,” CAG President Iris Park said. “We were pleased with all the entries and just how many means of art were represented, as well as area artists. A great time was had by all with live music by Selby Minner and Mike Boege, a book signing by Herb McCutchen and all the locals who came to help celebrate the success of these artists.”
