It is the season of giving at the Jim Lucas Checotah Public Library.

Santa paid us a visit to pick up last week’s letters from our patrons, and we have more seasonal shenanigans in December. We are nearly finished withthe12DaysofChristmas giveaway. We also have giveaways planned on Facebook. Be sure to like our page so you don’t miss your chance at a gift bag from the library!

Our Christmas Movie Night is at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16. And yes, there will be popcorn. The hilarious and unpredictable Improv for All Ages Workshop returns at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17. Finally, the monthly Book Club will discuss their Christmas-themed book at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19. The library will be closed on Dec. 24 & 25.
