Carolyn Carol Irene Emberton

Carolyn Carol Irene Emberton, 75, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025. Carolyn was born on Sept. 6, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Herman Raymond and Betty Irene (Carson) Reeves. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1967.

Carol worked in customer service. She enjoyed classic cars and watching college football.

Survivors include her son Justin Laird of Checotah; grandchildren Ben Wilcockson, Rae- Sept. 6, 1949 – Feb. 15, 2025

lynn McMurchy, Conner Emberton and Dalton Lanier; numerous cousins and other family and friends; a high school classmate Betty Bowles and childhood friend Sharon Tidwell.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Betty Reeves and a brother, Raymond Reeves.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at the Hunn Funeral Home Chapel with Dewayne Hammer officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Reeves, Blake Reeves, Gavin Artis, Alex Artis, Sam Langley and Colton Neal.
