OKTAHA – DeForest LaGrone, 75, slipped the bonds of this earthly realm unto eternity, Sunday, April 13, 2025 in his home. Arrangements are pending with House of Winn-Muskogee.

CHECOTAH – Clifton Michael “Mike” Gill, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.

MUSKOGEE – Alonzo Titus Martin, 63, slipped the bonds of this earthly realm into eternity, Friday, April 11, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK, surrounded by family. A Service of Memory is scheduled, Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church in Muskogee, OK.

MUSKOGEE – Charles “Leamon” Scoggins, 90, passed this life on Thursday April 10, 2025 at the age of 90. A Celebration of Life will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee, OK.

LONGTOWN – Dwight Carson Bowling, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at Piney Creek Fellowship Church in Stigler, OK on Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m.

EUFAULA-JimmyDonCaudle, 56, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at his home. A memorial service will be held at Lenna Cemetery on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 2 p.m.

HARRISON, AR – Phyllis “Annette” Hill, 64, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Deep Fork Hillabee Baptist Church in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Betty Jean Wood, 87, passed from this life on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at her family home. A memorial service was held at Eufaula Church of Christ on Friday, April 11, 2025.

STIGLER – Joann Marie Mills, 64, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service was held Monday, April 14, 2025 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula, OK.

WARNER – Margaret Jane Eaker, 80, entered her eternal home, Sunday, April 6, 2025. A memorial service was held Monday, April 14 at Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home in Checotah, OK.

PORUM LANDING – Edgar “Ed” Carl Cottrell, 94, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Porum Landing Fire Department in Porum, OK.

WARNER- Winfred Carl Simeroth went to his final resting place with the Lord on Friday, April 4, 2025 in Warner, OK at the age of 92. On Friday, April 11, 2025 a Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Event Hall in Muskogee, OK.

CHECOTAH – Charlcee Roberta Burns, 96, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. CHECOTAH – Wilma Garrison, a beloved mother, Granny, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, at the age of 96.

MUSKOGEE – Theresa Yvonne Hardee, 55, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025. A memorial service was held Thursday, April 3 at Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Checotah, OK.

EUFAULA – Ashton Leon Audie Wright “Leon,” 21, passed from this life on Monday, March 31, 2025 in Muskogee, OK. Funeral services were held Monday, April 7, 2025 at Stidham Baptist Church.

EUFAULA -Terry Haskell Spradley, 81, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, in Muskogee. Graveside Services were held at Green Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

CHECOTAH – Luches Warrior, Jr., affectionately known as “June” or “Pickle” from Pierce, OK, passed from this life at the age of 71 when his fight with cancer came to an end on March 28, 2025, while surrounded by family. Luches took his Last Ride by Horse-Drawn Carriage on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Checotah,OK. “The Final Roundup’ for Mr. Warrior commenced on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Checotah Performing Arts Center.
