And another year of high school sports comes to an end as the last of the state tournaments take place. As sports fans we have had a fantastic year. We saw Eufaula girls go to the state fast-pitch tournament for a second time, both Eufaula and Checotah had cross-country runners make it to state. The Lady Wildcat basketball team made school history by defeating Eufaula three times in the same season, Colt Collett made state again, Hailey Prince signed with Murray State, Carson Luna signed to play football at East Central and Brian Love signed to play football at the next level. Rylee McNeill makes it to the state golf tournament and both schools get represented at the state track meet and the OKC Thunder is in the post-season.
