The Checotah sports programs have a bright future as several underclassmen return for the 2026 season. Freshman Izzy Ruiter made an impact this season in the 100-meter hurdles and the 200-meter hurdles. Senior Tyler Orman was the only Wildcat to make the state tournament this season in the long jump.
