Television and kickoff information for four 2025 University of Oklahoma football games was announced by the Southeastern Conference.
OU’s Aug. 30 season- opening home game against Illinois State will kick off at 5 p.m. CT and be carried by ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
Week 2 will feature a Sept. 6 marquee primetime home game against Michigan that will start at 6:30 p.m. CT and air on ABC.
The Sooners’ Sept. 13 road game against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field — home of the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles — will begin at 11 a.m. CT and be televised by ESPN2.
Oct. 11 Allstate Red River Rivalry contest against Texas at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas will begin at 2:30 p.m. CT and be televised by ABC or ESPN. It will mark the second consecutive 2:30 start for OU-Texas after 12 of the previous 13 matchups kicked off at 11 a.m. CT.
OU has won 11 of its last 16 meetings against Texas and 17 of its last 26. Since 1971, the Sooners are 3022-3 against the Longhorns.
The SEC Championship Game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast by ABC for the second straight year.
