Republican Mike Mazzei running for governor

TULSA – Conservative Republican Mike Mazzei filed paperwork with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission to launch his 2026 campaign for Oklahoma Governor, a seat which will be open due to Governor Kevin Stitt’s term limit.

“I’m running for Governor for the thousands of kids who have been left behind by a backward education system that has failed. I’m running for all those Oklahoma small businesses who want to grow their companies but can’t because of taxes and regulations. More importantly, I am running because I believe together we can choose freedom and faith for a better tomorrow for all Oklahomans.”

Mike Mazzei is the Founder and CEO of Trinity Strategic Wealth, a premier financial planning firm with over $1.5 billion in assets under management. As a Certified Financial Planner professional and Master Planner Advanced Studies , Mike created The Financial Freedom ProcessTM and his teammates help clients pursue their lifetime goals and values.

Mike has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service. He was elected to the Oklahoma State Senate in 2004, serving Senate District 25 for 12 years. During his tenure, he chaired the Senate Finance Committee for a decade, advocating for lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, and economic growth. Through the steadfast help of faith, family, and friends, Mike persevered through a long recovery after a car accident. Despite years of physical challenges, Mike’s resolute determination achieved significant accomplishments for Oklahomans – leading efforts to lower taxes, restoring the fund for teacher retirement pensions, and protected constitutional freedoms including pro-life policies, pro-gun rights, and private property protections.

In December 2018, Governor Kevin Stitt appointed Mike as Oklahoma’s Secretary of Budget, where he played a pivotal role in achieving the largest state savings account in history at the time —over $1 billion.

A strong believer in faith and service, Mike is an active member of Asbury Church and a dedicated supporter of numerous charitable organizations across the state.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics from George Mason University and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning.

Mike and his wife, Noel, reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and are proud parents of five grown children—Maria, triplets Caleb, Carissa, and Mykaela, and their youngest, Jackson.

With a record of business excellence, fiscal leadership, and unwavering conservative values, Mike Mazzei is dedicated to making Oklahoma a thriving, prosperous, and free state.
