The hard work of the fishing team of Connor McAllister and Ayden Ford has paid off. Both received a scholarship to compete for Murray State’s fishing program. Connor McAllister and Ayden Ford placed in the top 10 and punched their ticket to compete in the High School Nationals on Grand Lake on June 24-28th.

Both anglers have been competing in events throughout the state and beyond.

“I’m just happy for both Connor and Ayden. All those weekends of fishing have paid off for them. Murray State is a great program and to see them both competing at the next level is something you only dream about,” Sean McAllister said.
