2026 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast returns to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth for Championship Rounds after Cowtown Coliseum start

PBR (Professional Bull Riders) today announced that the 2026 PBR Unleash The Beast World Finals Championship will be returning to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on May 14-17. The marquee bull-riding event in Western sports will begin with early rounds at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth on May 7-10.

PBR World Finals had been held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas in 2022 and 2023. In 2024 and 2025, the event was split between Cowtown Coliseum and AT&T Stadium.

“With the 2026 FIFA World Cup coming to AT&T Stadium, PBR World Finals – Championship will shift to a new home for the season – Dickies Arena,” said Sean Gleason, CEO and Commissioner of PBR. “We’re proud to keep the toughest championship in sports right here in Texas, starting the journey at historic Cowtown Coliseum and culminating with crowning our new World Champion at Dickies Arena — also home to the Fort Worth Rattlers of PBR Teams.”

Dickies Arena has hosted many dramatic PBR World Finals moments, including 2022 World Champion and World Finals event winner Daylon Swearingen’s six-ride streak capped by a 93-point trip on Big Black, and Mauricio Moreira 94.25-point ride on Jive Turkey at that same 2022 event. The following season, Dickies Arena hosted one of the most fiercely challenged championship races with No. 1 Kaique Pacheco No. 2 Jose Vitor Leme separated by 16 points going into the Finals. Dark horse Rafael Jose de Brito would surprise the bull-riding world to snatch the title, also winning the 2023 World Finals event and Rookie of the Year to achieve a rare PBR “Triple Crown.”

“We are excited to welcome back PBR World Finals to Dickies Arena and to create a packed arena with enthusiastic fans to witness these incredible world-class athletes,” said Matt Homan, General Manager and President of Dickies Arena.

PBR World Finals debuted at Cowtown Coliseum, known as “the birthplace of PBR” for hosting the new organization’s first event in 1993, in 2024. The intimate 2,400-seat arena, a veritable cathedral for Western Sports in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, again set the stage for the final push to a gold buckle at World Finals in May of 2025, hosting capacity crowds at all six early rounds.

“Cowtown Coliseum was the site of the first indoor rodeo, the first rodeo broadcast on radio, and the first televised rodeo in the United States,” said Tim Long, General Manager of Cowtown Coliseum. “It’s only fitting that this historic Fort Worth venue now serves as the home of the crucial opening rounds of PBR World Finals.”

“Fort Worth is honored to welcome PBR World Finals back to both Cowtown Coliseum and Dickies Arena – two iconic venues that showcase the city’s Western heritage and world-class hospitality,” said Bob Jameson, CEO of Visit Fort Worth.

The presale for tickets for Dickies Arena and Cowtown Coliseum begins August 18 ahead of the public on sale on August 25. Fans may visit www. pbrworldfinals.com to register for first access to tickets. A slate of free-to-attend World Finals programming for fans that highlights the best of Western sports and culture, along with other rodeo and Western Sports events, will be announced in the future.
